Jennifer Williams is the CEO of FQHC Resource Alternative. Jennifer has worked in the healthcare industry for over twenty-seven years with twenty of those in the Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) space. Most recently Jennifer was the CFO of a multi-specialty, multi-location rural FQHC. During her tenure there, she had the opportunity to be a part of an organization that experienced much growth. As a leader in a growing organization, it allowed Jennifer to gain hands-on experience in a variety of areas. Some of these include expansion projects, capital projects, service line expansion, and the development of unique funding models such as New Market Tax Credits. In addition to her growth experience, Jennifer also specializes in the day-to-day operations of a health center. Her experience includes preparation of annual operational and grant budgets, overseeing the organization’s financial accounting systems, developing, and maintaining strong internal controls, developing financial policies and procedures that are aligned with GAAP and federal requirements, and generating, analyzing, and presenting monthly financial statements to Board of Directors. Jennifer received her Bachelor of Science in Health Care Administration degree in 2011, completed the lean HealthCare Certificate Program through Belmont University in 2019, and received her Master of Arts in Executive Leadership degree in 2020. Jennifer has served as Chair on the Tennessee Primary Care Association (TPCA) Education Committee and has also played a leadership role in the TPCA’s Financial Dashboard Workgroup.
Michael Gonzalez has worked exclusively with FQHC’s and coordinates 340B services for approximately fifty community health centers. He previously worked as the audit manager for a well-known CPA firm in the southeast that specializes in single audits of Federally Qualified Health Centers. There, he led more than 35 single audits of FQHC’s annually, totaling in over 120 while in the role of audit manager. In addition to audits he has worked on and given oversight of FQHC 990’s, FFR’s, cost reports, budgets, OSV visit support and other applicable activities.
Christa brings over 22 years of experience in the healthcare industry in both private practice & FQHCs. Before transitioning to consulting, Christa managed the Quality Improvement Program in a multi-site, multi-specialty FQHC. There she led the health center in achieving the Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) recognition through the National Committee on Quality Assurance (NCQA) as well as their participation in the state of Tennessee TN PCMH program in which the health center received recognition for high performance in both clinical quality and efficiency metrics. Christa developed and implemented multiple quality initiative programs including a robust Chronic Care Case Management program, Transitional Care Management program, and Population Health Outreach program. She was an active member of the Tennessee Primary Care Association (TPCA) and completed the LEAN HealthCare Certificate Program through Belmont University in 2019. Christa has held the Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification through the American Medical Technologists (AMT) for 17 years. Her combined experience and knowledge in hands-on clinical practices, quality and process improvement, data analytics, and LEAN methodologies allow her to offer a comprehensive approach based on the individual needs of each client.
Christa and her husband, Stacy, live in beautiful West Tennessee where they are proud parents of three sons, two daughters-in-law and a grandson.
Candy is the Account Manager at FQHC Resource Alternative. She has a degree in Business Administration. She comes to us from the Finance department at a FQHC. Her primary focus was payroll and account reconciliation.
She also serves as our FQHC Billing specialist. Candy has several years of experience working in a FQHC billing department. While there, she earned the CPC and CPB credentials. She has the experience, training and certifications to help FQHCs maximize their billing revenue and adopt best practices in billing processes, procedures and compliance.
Candy and her husband, Cliff, have been married for 35 years. Their family has grown from three sons to now include two daughters-in-law and two grandsons.
